My Role & Contributions
When designing and developing the AE12 AutoParts site, my responsibilities included:
Defining the information architecture, i.e. categories and product filters, so users can find the correct accessory or screen guard easily by vehicle type or model.
Implementing an e-commerce setup with core features: inventory display, add-to-cart, wishlist, price comparisons, promotions, and discount displays.
Ensuring UI / UX design is clean, intuitive, mobile-friendly, and gives priority to conversion-oriented elements (discounts, strong visuals, easy checkout).
Integrating trust-building elements: office address, support contact, payment method icons, visible social media links.
Optimizing product listing pages so that discounted products and deals are easy to spot, encourage clickthrough.
Outcomes & Impact
